Pilates for real lives
My classes are taught in community halls and are accessible to everyone! I teach Matwork, Chair-assisted Pilates and Buff Bones®
“This pilates class is just the best! No matter what health issues, Laura tailors each movement to your needs. I have previously taken other fitness classes but this class gives much better results (more flexibility & more toned) whilst being easier on the joints. And best of all, no cardio! Highly recommend.“
Pilates Matwork

I have Pilates Matwork classes at various levels, from Beginner to Intermediate. Exercises can be layered up to add challenge, or modified to ensure everyone can get the most out of the work. Individuals can work to their level within a group class, and we work in different positions; standing, all fours, prone, supine and sidelying, allowing us to move every joint in every direction to get full range of motion through the whole body.
Chair-assisted Pilates

This class is fantastic for anyone who would find it difficult moving up and down from the floor. A chair is used as support in standing as well as working through movements in a seated position. We use small equipment in every session to add resistance and challenge the body as much as we can.
Buff Bones®

Buff Bones® is a structured movement and exercise method focused on building bone and joint health—especially designed for midlife adults and those with osteoporosis. Founded by Rebekah Rotstein (who herself was diagnosed at 28), it blends exercises from Pilates, functional movement, strength training, motor control and fascia release.
Purpose: Strengthen bones, improve posture, enhance balance, reduce joint pain, and prevent fractures.

About me
Hi! I’m Laura, a mum of two and an accidental Pilates teacher for nine years now!
My journey with Pilates began unexpectedly during a crowded gym session when I stumbled across a class on impulse. Instantly hooked, I found not only physical benefits like improved posture but also a powerful stress reliever from my demanding job in architecture. Balancing my that career with my newfound passion, I became a certified instructor with Body Control Pilates in 2016. Juggling motherhood and teaching, I even brought my own babies to classes from when they were just weeks old. Now training in aerial Pilates, I continuously seek to expand my knowledge to better serve my clients’ needs.
I offer free trial classes, so if you are wanting to try Pilates for the first time, or looking for a new class to join, please get in touch!
